For the audio I had to learn how to use Pro Tools in 5 minutes, yay. We borrowed a zoom for the weekend and I recorded some sounds (steps, door, object on surfaces, toy falling...) and I edited very veeeeeeery basic in Pro Tools. What I basicly did was just mute the classic background noise that recorded noises tend to have.
And to be honest, it didn't turn out that bad! I added the sound in Adobe Premiere.
I found a tutorial for fading in and out sound in Premiere: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zI5wJnnlM3I
