BSA226 - Week 11 | Blend shapes and jump test

To create Blend Shapes we have to open the Shape Editor in the Sculpting tab. Then create a new Blend Shapes Group and select the actual geometry that needs to be animated (in this case the head to animate the mouth) to add a Target. Then with the Edit button enabled we can manipulate the geometry to make a sad face or whatever it should be.

Once it's done we can manipulate the slider and add keys in the Shape Editor to animate the blend shape.



After that we attempted to do a short jump animation. I had to correct the weight painting in some parts after moving the arms and hands. The shoes need some more work too.


Here's the playblast. The shoes actually appear in the render, so it's fine like this for now.
