BSA225 - Week 5

This week we are going to start with the basics for the 3D-Animatic. A few important details: we have to set the frames to 25fps and the camera we set to HD 1080.

Setting keyframes
Press s on the keyboard to set a Keyframe. Translate, rotate and scale values will be set automatically. If you want to set just one value at a time, move the timeline, then alter the object and then on the Attributes tab right click on the changed value and click Set Key.

Standard models
Maya offers some already finished models that are ok for Animatics. We found them under Windows > General Editors > Content Browser.
These models can be quick rigged with the Quick rig option (change the tab to Rigging, Skeleton > Quick rig).
I assigned materials myself to do some clothes quickly.
