BSA125 - Step Outline

Step outline

“Troubled waters”

A young sorcerer hast to defeat a giant beast, in order to continue her journey to accomplish her mission. 

1. Ext. field under the tree – around 4pm

Lyn walks along the river. Then she leans back on the trunk of a tree. 

2. Ext. river – around 4pm

Lyn gets thirsty and stands up and approaches the river's bank. When she crouches down to get some water, she sees something shiny out of the corner of her eyes. Lyn brings her hand closer and the growling Yoorok monster rises from the river. It's a giant reptile dragon like monster with a shiny tail that attracts its preys. It tries to grab her but she avoids it, takes her bag and escapes.  

3. Ext. field/forest – around 4pm

Lyn looks briefly back. She takes a fire rune (runes help sorcerer to make much more powerful spells) out of her bag. She sees a tall rock. She turns to the right. 

The monster takes advantage of the shortcut and tries to grab her again, but he only hurts her in the back. 

Lyn invokes a fire ball and this hits the monster. She enchants a force field between her and the monster. The monster is trapped and roars. 

4. Ext. rock - around 4pm

Force field vanishes and growling gets stronger. Lyn gets to the rock and climbs up. She takes the rune and starts the spell. She runs to the edge of the rock and the beast is gone. Lyn lowers the attack position and the monster's tail grabs her by the foot. The rune slips from her hand and she screams. 

The monster opens its jaws to eat her. 

5. Ext. field under the tree - around 6pm

Lyn opens her eyes. She is still laying under the tree. She checks her back, which has not a single scratch. Lyn tries to calm down. 
Lyn gets up to continue her journey. She doesn't notice the golden object shining next to the river bank.
